Hercules: The Legendary Journeys is a collectible card game based on the popular Hercules TV show. It uses the ARC system of rules, which is sort of like a multi-genre, simplified version of Magic: The Gathering. During the game, players put down resources of three different colors, tap these resources to put characters into play, and attempt to defeat their opponents' forces by attacking with their characters. There are also action cards, which can be played at any time, and combat cards, which can be played during battles. Successful attacks force their victims to discard cards, and the first player whose deck runs out loses the game. All ARC system games are compatible, so Hercules cards can be used interchangeably with cards from the Xena and C*23 games.
