Gathering Ground began with a 5.000 square foot retail store that mainly supplied Magic the Gathering®. We were one of the first stores in our area and therefore held all of the big tournaments and eventually became known as "THE" place to go for not only Magic, but all types of gaming. A few years later, after the beanie babies craze, the Pokémon® phenomenon hit and our store became too small for the overwhelming amount of customers that came pouring in. The local news channels were constantly at our door wanting to film the craze, which consisted of extremely long lines, traffic jams to pull in/out of our lot, and people crowded in our store like sardines. All this coupled with our growing website told us it time to move

Today, we currently have a combined space of over 20,000 square feet consisting of offices, warehouse, and 10,000 square feet dedicated to just tables for gaming! We have by far the largest space in the St. Louis area for tournaments.
